About Me

Hi there! I'm Monica Williams, a California native who’s been soaking up the Arizona sun for the past seven years. Ever since I was a child visiting Arizona, I’ve felt a deep peace here that has stayed with me. It’s a place that has truly become my home and where I am excited to be raising my son Carter with my husband Tim.

My passion for photography began in high school, where yes I even started my schools first-ever photo club! I didn't realize it was going to stick until college. I had started my journey pursuing a Biology degree, but after chemistry got the best of me, I quickly shifted gears. I spent an entire semester immersed in photography and journalism, and it was during this time that I started photographing for my community college’s newspaper. That’s when I realized—capturing stories through images was what I was meant to do.

For the next ten years, I worked in television news as a producer and off-camera reporter, before taking a lead of faith into marketing and communications. Now, I handle crisis communications, media relations, and educational materials on a daily basis. Along the way, I’ve come to appreciate the true power of photography—not just as a tool for storytelling, but as a way to document history, milestones, and accomplishments.

Photography is my way of preserving moments that matter.
